CCID and LewerMark Student Insurance are thrilled to announce the 2025 Global Impact Scholarship, designed to celebrate the vision, creativity, and future leadership of international students at CCID member colleges!

For CCID, supporting international students aligns directly with our mission to create globally engaged learning environments at community, technical, and vocational colleges. Thanks to the generous support of LewerMark Insurance, a longtime champion of international students and a proud supporter of CCID, we can empower the next generation of global citizens and leaders, one scholarship at a time.

 

This year’s theme: “How will you make a difference in the world with your international education?”

Students are invited to submit original works, whether a video, essay, short story, artwork, or music, that illustrates how their international education will empower them to create meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

We want students to share their personal vision for how your international education experience will equip them to make a meaningful difference.

For example:

• "How will this experience shape your goals?"
• "How will your education prepare you to address global challenges or local needs?"
• "In what ways will you use your skills, knowledge, and connections to make a difference?"
• "How will your education help you solve problems or create change?"

 

Note:

Submission must be an original work created specifically in response to the scholarship theme. Unrelated or repurposed assignments/projects will not be considered.

 

International students at CCID Member Colleges have the chance to win up to $4,000 in scholarships!

1st Place: $4,000

2nd Place: $3,000

3rd Place: $2,000

4th Place: $1,000

 

Funds for the scholarship will be sent directly to the institution and applied directly to the student's account.

 

Eligibility:

• Full-time international students (active F, J, M, U, T, R, A, or Q visa-holders and DACA recipients enrolled in a SEVIS-approved US institution).
• Currently enrolled in and attending classes on a full-time basis at a CCID Member College.
• Enrolled full-time in the following spring or summer semester.

 

Application Deadline: Sunday, November 23, 2025

Winners Announced: Week of March 1, 2026

 

Exclusions:

• Students participating in non-credit bearing vacations, mission trips, service learning, or internships;
• Lewer/CCID employees (and members of their household) and immediate family members of Lewer/CCID employees (and members of immediate family members’ households).
