Embracing a New Era: CCID Seeking New Host!

Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) is excited to announce that it is looking for its next host of the organization!  As we approach our 50th year of existence, and our 10th anniversary of being hosted at Lone Star College in Houston, Texas, CCID is embracing a new era of service and leadership.  We are inviting community colleges and non-profit organizations interested in accelerating their international profiles to consider submitting an application to host the CCID organization starting September 1, 2026.  CCID will remain an independent 501(c)3 organization, but become a strategic partner and powerful asset to a new host entity that embraces and exemplifies our mission and values pertaining to championing global higher education and globally-skilled workers at community, technical and vocational colleges worldwide.

Applications are due no later than November 17th at 5:00pm CDT.  Additional details, timeline and Request for Proposals information may be accessed HERE.

CCID’s Transition Committee will be hosting an open Q&A session on September 24th 2025 from at 12:00pm CDT/1:00pm EDT.  This session will also provide information about becoming a CCID host entity, answering any initial questions that potential applicants may have. You will have the opportunity to speak with the CCID team, Executive Committee members and the current host college Senior International Officer/SIO Council Chair-Elect about the incredible benefits of hosting. Click on the ad below to access the meeting (no registration required).
