New partnership opportunities for CCID member colleges and polytechnic institutions abroadCommunity Colleges for International Development (CCID) has partnered with the U.S. Embassy in Singapore to offer a unique partnership development opportunity between U.S. community colleges and Singaporean polytechnic institutions.
This program will connect key administrators and decision-makers from Singapore and the United States to strengthen TVET curriculum, student mobility, internships, research, institution-to-institution activity and educational and cultural ties between both countries. It will run from June 30 to July 2, 2025. Partnership development between the U.S. and Singapore will focus on key academic and professional areas:
Representatives from six different colleges will be selected for travel to Singapore in June 2025 to develop partnerships with five polytechnic institutions. Selected representatives will each be awarded a travel grant ($2,230 value) to offset the cost. Four to five additional college representatives may also be selected to participate and will self-fund their trip. UPDATE! We are pleased to report that 11 CCID member colleges participated in 2025 and explored opportunities such as: study abroad programs to Singapore, marketing US Community Colleges to the Singaporean market, virtual exchanges, and curriculum development.
