Partnership Development Highlights Between U.S. Community Colleges and European Higher Education Institutions

Danish - U.S. Partnership Development

To encourage greater collaboration between Denmark and the U.S., CCID supported its members in 2025 via various programs.

Virtual Exchange Classes

• 42 CCID member college faculty and staff participated, representing 16 U.S. member colleges and 3 Danish member colleges
• Topics included AI, Technology Innovation, and Biodiversity

Davidson-Davie Community College (DDCC) Visit to Denmark
To bolster an ongoing partnership in farming, landscaping, and agriculture, in November 2025 DDCC's Dean of Workforce & Community Engagement, and Dean of Arts, Sciences, & Business Technology visited with The Green Academy and Mercantec.

U.S. Partnership Development in Ireland and France

In September 2025, ISA Ireland hosted a Professional Development Program in Ireland. Three CCID Member Colleges and one CCID University Partner participated.

In addition, an Atlantic Technological University Showcase was held in Boston, Massachusetts and in Chicago, Illinois.

In 2025, CCID members also benefitted from a free intercultural training course entitled “Global Perspective through the Narratives of Ireland” by ISA Ireland.

​Finally, to support French - U.S. partnership development, in October 2025, three CCID member colleges visited Rennes School of Business in France.
