Recognizing our industry colleagues for their outstanding contributionsEach year at our annual conference, CCID honors outstanding educators among our membership for their work in international education. On the final day during the Annual Awards Brunch, we announce the winners and present them with their award. Werner Kubsch Award 2025 Winner Mr. Andrew Ness Dean, International Education Humber Polytechnic Andrew was recognized for his 30 years of experience in post-secondary education, having hosted more than 10,000 international students from 130 countries at Humber Polytechnic, managed more than 12 million CAD in contracted international development projects, contributing to national policy development for internationalization in Canada and being named one of 50 International Voices of 2024 by the PIE Awards. Dr. Jennifer L. O’Hara, J.D., Ed.D. Professor, Business Law & Government SUNY Corning Community College Jennifer was recognized for being one of the first faculty at SUNY Corning to utilize COIL virtual exchange in the Spring of 2017 with a class in Mexico. She led the development of SUNY Corning’s Global Business curriculum, is a coordinator of faculty professional development, was awarded a Cornell Fellowship for Community College Internationalization and is a champion of instilling a global mindset into students.
