This year’s theme, Aligning the Stars, challenges participants and presenters to explore how connecting resources, ideas and opportunities promotes global citizenship. The CCID Annual Conference will be held February 18th – 20th, 2017 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston, Texas. 

The CCID Annual Conference is tailored for international community and technical colleges dedicated to creating globally engaged learning environments and offers engaging sessions, practical workshops, networking opportunities, dynamic speakers, and curated exhibitors dedicated to the unique needs of community colleges and similar institutions.

Purpose: The purpose of this program is to build cooperative networks among scholars from community colleges and Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) working in the social sciences and allied humanities. The program will draw on the resources, facilities, and contacts of the American overseas research center located in Dakar, Senegal.

Capacity Building Grants for U.S. Undergraduate Study Abroad

Deadline: December 19th

The U.S. Department of State and Partners of the Americas are pleased to announce the second round of funding for the Capacity Building Grants for U.S. Undergraduate Study Abroad (CBG) program, opening September 27, 2016. Grants of up to $42,000 will be awarded to institutions that propose solutions for expanding and diversifying U.S. study abroad.
