Integrating an International and Intercultural Dimension in the HEI Academic Realm
(Course Language: Spanish)
Facilitator: Hans de Wit, PhD

Internationalization in higher education is a rather new and broad concept. What do we mean with this concept, why are institutions doing this, and what are the intended outcomes of that process? These aspects will be discussed and a process of integrating the international, intercultural and global dimensions in teaching and learning will be presented. Participants will learn strategies and tools to work on moving from an activity approach towards a comprehensive internationalization policy and organization, combining mobility schemes with internationalization at home and in the curriculum, and strategic partnerships.
