Fun Fact: Kenansville was settled in 1735 by immigrants from Northern Ireland and Swiss Germans from Switzerland. The early pioneers called their little town "Golden Grove".

The 2016 Nationwide Benchmarking Report on International Business Education at Community Colleges

The 2016 Nationwide Benchmarking Report on International Business Education and Community Colleges uses an IBEX (International Business Education Index) score to provide benchmarks for community colleges. The IBEX score consists of five “pillars” that are important to strategically implement international business education programs and activities at community colleges. Comparisons to previous years are also available.


For the first time, the benchmarking report also provides a look at internationals entrepreneurship education at community colleges across the nation. The study was conducted in cooperation with our partner organizations, Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE).

Hispanic-Serving Institutions Education Grants Program

For our Hispanic-Serving Institution Members:
Summary of Grant: This U.S. Department of Agriculture program seeks to promote and strengthen the ability of Hispanic-Serving Institutions to carry out higher education programs that attract, retain, and graduate outstanding students capable of enhancing the nation’s food, agricultural, and natural resource scientific and professional work force.



Undergraduate and/or graduate students’ activities may include international experiences leading to an understanding of global issues.

DEADLINE:
Collaboration Applications: February 9, 2016
Standard Applications: February 10, 2016
Strengthening Applications: February 12, 2016
 
AVAILABLE:
Maximum of $2,000,000 over a period of four years

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Hispanic-Serving Institutions (enrollment of undergraduate full-time equivalent students that is at least 25% Hispanic students).
