Biological, Tropical and Environmental Sciences

Community Colleges for International Development, Inc.(CCID) and three member colleges: Hillsborough Community College (Tampa, FL), Brevard Community College (Cocoa, FL), and Highline Community College (Des Moines, WA) are working together to offer this program to their students as well as others interested in the environmental and biological sciences in Belize.

CCID is a 32-year old non-profit consortium of over 160 two-year U.S. and foreign colleges that builds global relationships to strengthen educational programs and promote economic development. The 9,000 faculty at CCID colleges educate more than 750,000 students in 400 technical fields and university transfer programs.

Our in-country partner is Programme for Belize (PfB) which agreed to provide services for our students including arrival orientation, ongoing program support from the PfB volunteer staff, and placement with qualified host families.
