International Business Institute On the Road

Offered in partnership with CCID, the International Business Institute on the Road workshops at Michigan State University offer an abbreviated version of the flagship International Business Institute for Community College Faculty (IBI) that is offered biennially in East Lansing. The aim of the IBI is to provide participants with the knowledge, experience and resources they need to internationalize general business courses and/or develop specialized international business courses at the two-year college level.

These workshops cover all aspects of internationalizing business education at community colleges. Workshops are offered four times per year in different parts of the country and are typically hosted by CCID member institutions, but are open to all faculty in the region.

The 2016 Nationwide Benchmarking Report on International Business Education at Community Colleges
Publication Date: Monday, January 11, 2016
The 2016 Nationwide Benchmarking Report on International Business Education at Community Colleges uses an IBEX (International Business Education Index) score to provide benchmarks for community colleges. The IBEX score consists of five “pillars” that are important to strategically implement international business education programs and activities at community colleges. Comparisons to previous years are also available. For the first time, the benchmarking report also provides a look at international entrepreneurship education at community colleges across the nation. The study was conducted in cooperation with our partner organizations, Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE).
