Health and Safety Information
for Troika Study Abroad
In organizing the CCID Troika study abroad program, our office follows the Practices for Health & Safety issued by NAFSA: Association of International Educators in 2006.
Health Insurance
Medical Insurance Coverage- is included in the student's Program Fee. Prior to travel to the respective country, each student receives a brochure with a detailed description of benefits and services provided under this policy.
Medical and Other Emergency Services Coverage - this service is provided by AssistAmerica. Each student (and faculty) traveling with the Troika program receives complete brochure with service information, contact numbers and an ID card prior to the departure. This coverage does include emergency evacuation and repatriation of remains (in case of participant death). Specifics and details are on the website or in the brochure.
